1996 Lopesan Group buys Hotel Buenaventura and Hotel Catarina from the German company Creativ.

1999 Lopesan acquires a majority stake in the German Group IFA Hotels & Touristik.

2000 Lopesan opens its first purpose-built hotel: the Lopesan Costa Meloneras.

2003 The Lopesan Group buys Hotel Garonda Jandía in Fuerteventura, which is later called Hotel Altamarena.
