1982 IFA Hotel & Touristik is found as promoter of hotels and apartments in Spain.

1984 Entry into the Austrian market in the area of the Kleinwalsertal, Acquisition of IFA Hotel Alpenhof Wildental in Mittelberg. Signing a management contract for the holiday resort in Hirschegg.

1988 Entry in the Turkish market by minority aquisition of IFA Beach Hotel Tekirova / Turkish Riviera.

1992 Massive increase in activity in Germany. First involvement as clinic manager. Majority acquisition of the capital of SBK I Südstrand Burgtiefe Betreuungsgesellschaft mbH & Co., a limited partnership domiciled in Burg auf Fehmarn with participation in the following hotels: IFA Holiday Centre Südstrand, Burg auf Fehmarn IFA Holiday Park Rügen, Binz auf Rügen IFA Holiday Park Usedom, Kölpingsee/Usedom In addition, acquisition of the participations in the following entities: Child Rehabilitation Centre in Fehmarn SBK III Südstrand Burgtiefe Betreuungsgesellschaft mbH & Co.

1993 Development of activities in Germany. Enlargement of the clinic management activity. Purchase of the Grand Hotel Graal-Müritz (Baltic Sea), a further property in Binz on the island of Rügen, as well as the Hotel Rennsteigblick in Finsterbergen (Thuringia) Opening of the Children Rehabilitation Centre Usedom

1994 Expansion of the company portfolio in Germany. Acquisition of the IFA Holiday Park Hohe Reuth in Schöneck/Vogtland.

1995 First quotation on the Stock Market. Strengthening of its position as clinic manager. Quotation on the stock markets of Frankfurt/Main and Dusseldorf in July 1995 under the stock identification number 613120; issuing price: DM 30.00. Opening of the Bernsteinklinik clinic in Binz on the island of Rügen.

1997 Entry into the Italian market. Acquisition of the Terme di Galzignano resort comprising four hotels within a total area of 300,000 square metres, close to Abano.

1999 Arrival of new majority shareholder. The Lopesan Group, by means of its subsidiary Creativ Hotel Buenaventura S.A., acquires a majority shareholding in IFA with 50.1%.

2000 Beginning of the reorganisation of the company portfolio. Thomas Cook acquires a 40% stake in Creativ Hotel Buenaventura S.A. Finalisation of the lease of the holiday hotel in Hirschegg/Austria.

2001 Continuation of the reorganisation of the company portfolio. Sale of the contract/holding in the Beach Hotel in Tekirova, Turkey, measure consistent with the focus on core regions.

2002 Continuation of the reorganisation of the company portfolio. Sale of the IFA Berg-Hotelgesellschaft mbH, Finsterbergen, owner of the IFA Hotel Rennsteigblick in Finsterbergen.

IFA assumes the management of the IFA Beach Resort Nessebar, beginning with the Hotels Bay and Mare, with a total capacity of 621 rooms. Enlargement of the resort to 939 rooms in 2005. Sale of the IFA Hotel Lloret as a measure included in the reorganisation of the portfolio. The number of beds of IFA in Germany now reaches 4,100 in the mid term.

2007 In nine month complete renovation and modernization of Ifa Graal-Müritz Hotel****. At the same time complete modernization of Ifa Villas Bávaro Resort**** in the Dominican Republic.

2007 Agreement for the end of the year to cancel the management contract of IFA Nessebar Beach Hotel**** and to abandon the Bulgarian market.

2008 Closure of the clinic

2009 Closure and subsequent sale of subject Terme di Galzignano , S.p.A. and thus removal from the Italian market.
