Visit San Buenaventura Castle<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Near the marina at Caleta de Fuste Beach in Fuerteventura stands San Buenaventura Castle<\/strong>, the monument from which the bay takes its alternative name, Castillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This structure was built to protect the island\u2019s inhabitants from the constant attacks of pirates at the time, becoming the first fortification on the coast of Fuerteventura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
