El Castillo de la Luz – Martín Chirino Foundation

Built in the 15th century, the Castillo de la Luz fortification is the oldest in the Canary Islands and has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest.

Since 2015 it houses inside the Martín Chirino Art and Thought Foundation, one of the most famous sculptors in Gran Canaria who, along with artists of the stature of Antonio Saura, belonged to the artistic movement of “El Paso”.
