Skiing plays a starring role. The hotel is located just 17 kilometres from Oberstdorf, venue of the 2005 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. In its vicinity you can find 120 kilometres of runs for all levels which will really delight the most demanding ski enthusiasts.
The range of winter sports is completed with 7 sledding runs and 50 kilometres of paths for winter trekking, as well as snow parks and the chance to take private classes in these disciplines at the 8 ski and snowboard schools located in the area.
Don´t worry if you visit us in summer. During summer it is also possible to enjoy the IFA Alpenrose Hotel sport activities. In the area around the establishment there are 150 kilometres of hiking trails as well as 8 complete mountain biking routes and Nordic walking with difficulty gradings according to the ages of participants.
